Master Cao is an old fashioned 30th generation Shaolin style teacher taught inside the Shaolin Temple the old martial practises of the fighting protection monks.
He is a seasoned and experienced practitioner and teacher at a perfect age for passing on his wealth of knowledge and experience and also at an age where he can demonstrate it all too effectively.
Master Cao was trained in the Shaolin Songshan Temple from 1989-1993 in the traditional Shaolin arts. During his time there he learned Small and Large Red Fists (Xiao/Da Hong Quan), Luo Han Fist, Staff, Sword and Whip. From learning these arts he then moved onto to deepen his study and specialise in Shaolin Hard Qi Gong. The particular kinds he favours are Iron Head, Iron Hand and Iron Body or Golden Bell Qi Gong and very soon after meeting Master Cao you will be all too aware of the intensive conditioning programme he puts himself through daily.
With the kind of skills Master Cao has acquired it is of little surprise that following leaving the temple he has spent a number of years as a high level military guard looking after extremely sensitive areas in Beijing where the countries top officials live and work. He was then invited to train the military in bare hand practises before becoming a personal bodyguard for a number of years.
Most recently he has returned to teaching the arts he has learned and we are very pleased to have such a highly skilled practitioner and teacher happy to share such rare and precious knowledge with our visitors. He will also be giving an introduction into the Chan meditation he learned in the temple which was part of the training used to integrate mind with movement.
